Ingredients

4 c. mashed figs
3 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation

Wash plums and cut from seeds.
Measure after cut, then use 1 cup sugar for each 2 cups plums.
Combine sugar and plums in large saucepan.
Cook until mixture thickens, stirring often.
(Probably will have to cook at least 45 minutes.)
When thick enough, put into hot jars and seal.
