Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-10 oz can 7 up
    5 Tbsp. corn starch
    1 C sugar
    1 pt. fresh strawberries
    1 Tbsp. red food coloring
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in double boiler. Cook until thick. Add food coloring and let cool. Add berries and pour into baked pie shell. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Top with Cool Whip when ready to serve.
