Cucumber Salad(Uborka Salata) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large cucumbers, peeled and sliced lengthwise
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    dash of white pepper
    1 to 2 Tbsp. sour cream
Preparation
    Remove seeds from cucumber halves by running spoon tip vertically top to bottom, scooping out seeds.
    Slice out cucumbers thinly into half moon shaped slices.
    Sprinkle with salt; put in bowl and cover with ice cubes.
    Store cucumbers in refrigerator overnight.
    Drain cucumber slices; shake off or squeeze out excess water.
    Mix all dressing ingredients together.
    Add cucumbers; let stand for at least 1 hour before serving.
    Serves 6.
