Ingredients

1 stick butter
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
dash of salt
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt butter and chocolate together.
In separate bowl, beat eggs; add salt and sugar.
Mix in melted butter and chocolate. Stir in flour, baking powder and nuts.
Add vanilla.
Bake in a buttered 9 x 7-inch pan at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in square comes out clean.
I usually double this recipe.
May be kept in freezer for unplanned treats.
