Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg yolk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. water
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. light corn syrup
Preparation

Separate 1 egg and beat the yolk well. Gradually add water to yolk. Set aside. Mix other ingredients in a doubler boiler and when boiling, add 3 tablespoons to the egg yolk-water combination. Stir. Add yolk-water mixture to pan and mix together. Pour over vanilla ice cream while hot.
