Parmesan Biscuit Ring - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. cornmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/3 c. shortening
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Combine cornmeal, flour, salt and baking powder.
Cut in shortening until crumbly.
Add milk and stir lightly to blend.
Knead gently about 10 times.
Form into 16 balls.
Combine butter and cheese and roll each ball in mixture. Place in single layer in a well-greased 5-cup ring mold.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Let stand a few minutes before unmolding.
Serves 8.
