Cheese Straws Whole Wheat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. unbleached white flour
    1 heaping tsp. cayenne pepper
    3/4 c. unsalted butter, softened
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except salt, in food processor (2 batches) or by hand.
    Process until mixture comes together in a ball.
    Chill about 30 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Roll out dough, about 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into strips or rounds.
    Bake on ungreased baking sheets for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    Sprinkle with salt while still hot.
    Serve hot with cocktails or cold with soups.
