Two Bean Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. green beans, cut up
    1 c. wax beans, cut up
    salted water
    1 beaten egg
    2/3 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Cook beans in salt water just until tender.
    Drain well or use canned beans.
    Heat 2 to 3 inch cooking oil to 375\u00b0.
    Combine egg and milk.
    Add flour.
    Add beans, stirring just until moistened. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into hot oil.
    Fry several at a time until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Makes about 2 dozen.
