Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 green bell peppers
    2 lb. beef round or sirloin tip, cut up
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    2 c. tomatoes
    1 beef bouillon cube, crushed
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet. Add onion, peppers (cut into julienne strips) and saute about 2 minutes.
    Remove and set aside.
    Add beef.
    Sprinkle with garlic powder. Saute, stirring lightly, until browned. Add tomatoes and bouillon cube and simmer 10 minutes. Blend cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt. Stir into meat mixture and cook until thickened. Add onion and green peppers. Heat thoroughly.
    Serve immediately with whipped potatoes or buttered rice.
    Serves 6.
