Fried Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 ears freshly picked sweet corn
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. bacon grease
sugar, salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Over a big bowl, cut kernels off ears of the corn, then gently scrape the back of a knife against cobs to extract milky liquid. Melt butter and bacon grease over medium heat in a large cast-iron skillet.
Stir in corn, stirring frequently.
Simmer until tender (8 to 10 minutes).
If corn seems to be drying out, add a bit of hot water to keep it moist.
Taste and season with sugar, salt and pepper to suit.
Makes 4 servings.
