Baked French Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pitted dark sweet cherries
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat eggs, milk, flour, granulated sugar and vanilla with hand beater.
    Beat until smooth; spread cherries in greased oblong baking dish, 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch or square baking dish, 8 x 8 x 2-inch.
    Pour batter over cherries; bake, uncovered, until puffed and golden brown, 45 to 60 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Serve warm.
