Methodist Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    1 chicken, cut up
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
    1 3/4 c. water
    chopped pepper, if desired
Preparation
    Put 1 cup of rice in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Lay cut-up fryer on top of rice.
    Mix together and spoon on top: cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, Lipton onion soup mix, water and chopped pepper, if desired.
    Bake, uncovered, for 2 hours at 350\u00b0.
