Mexican Corn Bread-In-A-Meal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    2 large onions, chopped
    2 1/2 seeded and chopped jalapeno peppers
    1 c. cornmeal
    3/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 large can creamed corn
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. bacon drippings
    1/2 c. or more grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat with onions and peppers.
    Mix cornmeal, salt, soda, milk, corn and eggs.
    Grease large cast-iron skillet with drippings.
    Heat skillet, then pour 1/2 of cornmeal mixture to cover bottom of skillet.
    Add meat mixture, cover that with cheese, then rest of corn bread mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
