Fresh Raspberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. water
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. raspberry Jell-O
    2 qt. raspberries
    2 baked shells
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Stir and bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil over medium heat. Cook until thick and clear.
    Remove from heat.
    Add the Jell-O.
    Cool. Wash the raspberries in ice water and drain. Fill the shells.
    Pour cooled mixture over berries.
    Refrigerate. Cover with Cool Whip and decorate with fresh raspberries.
