Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes (frozen hash browns)
    3/4 c. melted butter (reserve 1/2 c.)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 minced onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. Velveeta cheese, diced
    3 c. buttered cornflakes
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Put into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch casserole dish.
    Top with 3 cups of buttered cornflakes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
