Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Wesson oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. pecans
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. cooked prunes, chopped
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Sift flour, spices, salt, soda and sugar.
Stir in oil and beaten eggs, then milk.
Add prunes, nuts and vanilla.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Pour sauce over cake when taken from the oven.
