Chicken-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. rice, uncooked
    1 stick margarine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    3 c. water
    1 fryer, cut into pieces or may use boneless breasts, if preferred
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place rice in large casserole dish.
    Cut margarine over rice. Spoon soup over rice.
    Sprinkle onion soup on top and add water; mix evenly.
    Place seasoned chicken pieces on top and bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 until tender (about 1 to 1 1/2 hours), less for boned breasts.
    Turn chicken, if necessary, for browning.
    Serves 4 to 6.
