Michigan Pate - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. chicken or whitefish livers
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. sherry
    1 tsp. salt
    4 oz. halved fresh mushrooms
    2 chopped green onions
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Saute livers in butter until tender.
    Put into blender with remaining ingredients.
    Process until smooth.
    Spoon into a small crock and refrigerate overnight.
    Spread on crackers.
