Crispy Baked Chicken - cooking recipe

1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 to 3 1/2 lbs. broiler/fryer chicken, cut up
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Combine the corn meal, flour, salt, chili powder, oregano and pepper. Dip chicken in milk, then roll in the corn meal mixture. Place in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Drizzle with butter. Bake uncovered for 50 to 55 minutes or until juices run clear.
