Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 large bananas
    1 box vanilla wafers
    1 can evaporated milk (12 oz.)
    1/2 can water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    5 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Layer bananas and cookies in pan, 9 x 12-inch.
    Cook other ingredients until thick.
    Spoon over bananas and cookies.
    Top with egg whites.
    Brown in oven
    on broil.
    Chill and serve. Serves 6 to 8.
