Pineapple Upside-Down Cake(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    5 pineapple slices, drain and reserve syrup
    5 maraschino cherries
    1 Jiffy yellow cake mix or 1/2 regular cake mix
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 9-inch round cake pan 30 seconds on High. Stir in brown sugar.
    Arrange pineapple rings over syrup.
    Place a cherry in center of each ring.
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions substituting reserved pineapple syrup for water. Place pan on inverted saucer in microwave.
    Microwave on Low, 7 to 9 minutes.
    turn at least once.
    Microwave on High, 3 to 4 minutes or until cake starts leaving sides of pan and toothpick in center comes out clean.
    Center may have spots that look uncooked.
    Let stand directly on countertop 1 to 2 minutes.
    Loosen edges with knife and invert onto serving plate.
