Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 (2 oz.) jars red food coloring
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Beat shortening and sugar.
    Add vanilla, cocoa, salt and eggs. Beat together, add food coloring and 2 jars water.
    Add flour. Mix soda and vinegar and let settle.
    Add buttermilk then soda and vinegar.
    Beat well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cool and keep refrigerated.
