Pineapple Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped nuts
1 egg, well beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. granulated sugar

Preparation

Cream sugar with shortening.
Add egg and pineapple. Mix thoroughly.
Add vanilla.
Sift together all dry ingredients.
Add to first mixture.
Add nuts.
Mix thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on oiled cookie sheet.
Bake at 425\u00b0 approximately 10 minutes.
