Italian Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. tri-color rotini pasta
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 c. Italian salad dressing
    1/2 c. red pepper, chopped
    1/2 of a red onion, thinly sliced
    2 c. broccoli, cut into small florets
    1/2 c. black olives, sliced
    1 c. cooked ham or pepperoni sausage, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain.
    Steam the broccoli until tender but still crunchy; cool.
    In a large bowl combine pasta and broccoli with all the remaining ingredients.
    Toss to mix thoroughly.
    Refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors.
