Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white syrup
    1 lb. raw peanuts
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. oleo
    1 Tbsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Use a wooden spoon to stir and at least a 17 x 10 3/4 x 1-inch cookie sheet to turn brittle on.
    The slower you cook it, the darker it gets.
    When cold, break into pieces and store in airtight container.
