Praline Pecan Crunch(Dog Food) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1-16 oz box Quaker Oat Squares (8 cups)
2 c pecan pieces
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c margarine or butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda

Preparation

Combine cereal and pecans in a 9x13 pan, set aside.
Combine corn syrup,
brown sugar and margarine in a microwaveable bowl and cook on high for 1 1/2 minutes.
Stir and microwave for another 1/2 - 1 1/2 minutes more until boiling.
Stir in vanilla and baking soda.
pour over cereal mixture and mix until coated evenly.
Bake for one hour at 350 degrees, stirring every 20 minutes.
Cool on baking sheet.
Break into pieces.
