Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    6 c. water
    3 Tbsp. chicken stock
    8 oz. thin noodles
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. broccoli, chopped
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
    6 c. milk
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion in margarine for 3 minutes.
    Add water and chicken stock and heat to boiling, stirring until stock dissolves. Gradually add noodles and salt; cook 3 minutes.
    Stir in precooked and drained broccoli.
    Add garlic powder.
    Cook 4 minutes.
    Reduce heat; add milk and cheese, stirring until melted.
    Add pepper. Serves 6 to 8.
