No Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 slices bacon
1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
2 medium potatoes, diced (1 1/2 c.)
1/2 c. water
1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Preparation

In a large saucepan, cook bacon until crisp.
Remove from pan; crumble.
Set aside.
Add onion rings and cook until lightly browned.
Add potatoes and water.
Cook over medium heat until tender (10 to 15 minutes).
Add corn, milk, salt and pepper.
Cook until heated through.
Do not boil.
Serve in bowls; top with bacon.
Serves 4 to 5.
