White Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup white sugar
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup shortening
    2 eggs
    1 cup milk (buttermilk or sour milk is better)
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp baking powder
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp nutmeg
    1 tsp salt
Preparation
    Add dry ingredients together. Cream in shortening, then add eggs and milk (add 1 tsp. vinegar to sweet milk) and vanilla.
    Can be made as drop cookies or roll out. If you roll them out refrigerate overnight. Sprinkle with white sugar before baking or frost after cooled. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
