Ingredients

1 1/4 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. Butterfinger candy bars, cut into small pieces
Preparation

Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg.
Stir in candy pieces and dry ingredients.
Add vanilla and blend well.
Chill dough for 30 minutes.
Drop by half teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 10 to 12 minutes or until done. Remove from baking sheet and place on wire rack to cool.
Makes about 6 dozen.
