Carrot Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. carrots
    5 medium green peppers (sweet)
    5 medium red sweet peppers
    6 medium onions
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1/4 c. salt
    6 c. sugar
    6 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Chop or grind vegetables.
    Heat spice, salt, sugar and vinegar to boiling.
    Add vegetables and boil gently for 20 minutes.
    Pack in jars and cover with liquid.
