Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 (10 oz.) frozen green peas
    1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. shredded sharp cheese
    4 or 6 boiled eggs, crumbled
    8 or 10 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
Preparation
    Alternate layers of lettuce, celery, pepper, onion and green peas twice.
    Spread mayonnaise over top.
    Sprinkle sugar, cheese, bacon and eggs over mayonnaise.
    Seal tightly and refrigerate for 8 hours.
