Refrigerated Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    9 c. cucumbers, sliced
    1 c. onion rings
    1 c. green peppers
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Dissolve the sugar in the vinegar.
    Add remaining ingredients. Let stand 1 to 2 hours.
    Put into jars and store in refrigerator. Best flavor if you let stand 2 to 3 days.
    May add more cucumbers and onion rings when needed.
