Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Blend in shortening.
    Add milk.
    Roll out with rolling pin to about 1/2-inch thick or thicker. Cut with biscuit cutter.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
