Hawaiian Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks in juice
    1 (18 oz.) can sweet potatoes
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. smoked link sausage
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
    Add water to juice if necessary to equal 1 1/4 cups liquid.
    Arrange pineapple chunks, sweet potatoes and sausage in 10 x 6 x 1 3/4-inch baking dish.
    In small saucepan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch and salt. Gradually blend in reserved pineapple juice mixture.
    Cook and stir for 1 minute more.
    Remove from heat; stir in butter.
    Pour over sausage mixture.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until heated through.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
