Ingredients

4 eggs
1 lb. butter
2 lbs. brown sugar
1 cup black walnut pieces
Vanilla to taste
1 tsp. bread soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
Pinch of salt
5 cups flour
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Form into rolls and wrap; then chill. Cut 1/4 inch slices for baking.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
