Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken
1 c. broth
salt and pepper to taste
self-rising flour
Preparation

Cook chicken until tender; set aside 1 cup broth to cool. Remove bone and skin from chicken.
Return meat to broth in boiler.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Put the cup of cooled broth in bowl.
Add enough self-rising flour to make a stiff dough.
Roll out on floured board and cut in about 2-inch squares. Add to boiling broth in boiler.
Cook for a few minutes until dough has time to cook.
Remove from heat.
Cover and let set 5 minutes.
