Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. ground chuck
1 1/4 lb hot or sweet Italian sausage
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 loaves snack rye breads
Preparation

Remove casing and brown sausage until almost done. Then add ground beef & brown together until done. Drain well. In skillet, mix in cubed cheese, oregano & garlic salt. Cover & keep heat on low. Stir occasionally until cheese is melted. Cool. Spread browned mixture on pieces of rye bread. Then broil for approximately 4 minutes. Serve hot.
