Whipped Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. unflavored Knox gelatine
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    3 eggs
    2 1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 large size angel food cake, break into small pieces
    1 pkg. or can Angel Flake coconut
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatine in 1/2 cup milk and set aside.
    Place 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of sugar and pinch of salt in top of double boiler to scald.
    Add well-beaten egg yolks, plus 1/4 cup sugar.
    Cook, stirring constantly, for approximately 5 minutes.
    Add gelatine mixture.
    Blend well and let cool.
    Fold in 1/2 pint whipped cream and well-beaten egg whites.
    Add vanilla.
