Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 15 egg yolks
    1 Tbsp. sugar (for each yolk)
    1 c. milk (for each yolk)
    3 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a large double boiler, mix egg yolks and sugar.
    Add milk. Place over boiling water, stirring constantly.
    Take off stove just before it starts to boil.
    Add vanilla.
    Cool, then store in refrigerator to chill.
