California Sweet Potato Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium sweet potatoes
    1/2 ??? brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. seedless raisins
    1/4 c. butter
    3 Tbsp. cooking sherry
    2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
    1/2 tsp. orange peel, grated
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.
    Drain, peel and halve lengthwise (or use 1 pound 2 ounce can).
    Arrange in shallow dish.
    Sprinkle lightly with salt.
    Mix the sugar, cornstarch and 1/4 teaspoon salt in small saucepan.
    Blend in the orange juice.
    Add raisins.
    Stir while bringing quickly to boiling. Add remaining ingredients and pour over potatoes.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes, or until potatoes are well glazed.
    Serves 4.
