Muncey'S Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco or butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten well
    1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. plain flour
    1/3 c. flour for rolling dough
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar well.
    Add soda dissolved in vinegar.
    Add flour gradually to make a stiff batter that can be rolled very thin.
    Cut out and bake in a moderate oven until brown, about 8 minutes.
