Caramel Corn And Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. popped corn
    1 c. butter
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. maple flavoring
    pinch of cream of tartar (optional)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. pecans
    1 c. peanuts
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pop corn and put in a large pan.
    Boil butter, sugar, corn syrup, flavorings, salt, pecans and peanuts for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add the soda and cream of tartar.
    Stir and pour over the popped corn.
    Mix well and spread on jelly roll pans. Bake at 225\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir frequently during baking.
    Remove corn and nuts from pans onto waxed paper and separate each piece. Allow to cool completely before storing in airtight containers.
