Mother'S Brown Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
approximately 2 c. Moltex cereal
3/4 c. margarine
1/3 c. light molasses
1 1/3 c. sugar
5 envelopes dry yeast
3 to 5 eggs
flour
Preparation

Bring water and salt to boil; stir in Moltex.
When it bubbles up good, remove and stir in margarine, molasses and sugar.
Beat eggs and add.
In large mixing pan, sprinkle yeast into 1 cup good warm water.
When cereal mixture is lukewarm, combine with yeast and 2 cups flour until well mixed.
Add about 8 more cups flour. Turn out and knead for 5 minutes.
Return to bowl; cover and let rise.
Make into good sized rolls and place in greased pans. Cover; let rise until doubled.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 28 minutes, no more.
Turn out on wire racks and grease tops with butter.
Makes about 5 dozen rolls.
