Fresh-Squeezed Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. fresh lemon juice, chilled
    lemon wedges (optional)
Preparation
    Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil and cook one minute.
    Remove from heat; let cool.
    Pour sugar mixture into a pitcher; chill.
    Add lemon juice to sugar mixture; stir well.
    Serve over ice and garnish with lemon wedges, if desired.
