Swedish Almond Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. ground almonds
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. oleo
    2 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. half and half
    4 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Cream the butter and oleo. Add sugar and mix well. Beat in eggs.
    Mix dry ingredients and nuts and mix in alternately with half and half. Stir in extract.
    Grease a 5 x 9-inch pan. Cut wax paper to fit pan.
    Re-grease wax paper.
    Pour in pan and bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Take out of pan and refrigerate overnight. Slice like toast.
    Dry in oven at 250\u00b0 for 15 to 30 minutes; halfway through, turn slices.
