Ingredients

5 medium onions
4 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/2 qt. bouillon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Peel, rinse and cut onions into slices; melt margarine in a 3-quart saucepan over low heat.
Add onion and cook slowly until golden.
Blend bouillon and season with salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
