Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
2 c. sour milk (clabber preferred) or buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Combine
sugar,
shortening, sour milk and baking soda; mix with
vanilla.
Then add flour, cocoa, cinnamon and salt. Beat all together
and
bake in 13 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 until done.
