Chicken-Vegetable Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 lb. fresh okra pods
    1 c. coarsely chopped onion
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. chopped green bell peppers
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans no-salt-added whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can no-salt-added chicken broth
    1/2 c. dry sherry
    1 tsp. chicken-flavored bouillon granules
    1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. cubed cooked chicken breast (about 1 lb.), boned and skinned
Preparation
    Remove tip and stem ends from okra.
    Cut okra into 1/4-inch slices and set aside.
