Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. Karo syrup or molasses
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6-8 qt. popped corn
    small can of dry roasted peanuts
Preparation
    Melt butter in pan.
    Stir in sugar, syrup and salt.
    Bring to boil stirring constantly.
    Continue to boil without stirring for 4 minutes.
    Remove from stove and stir in soda and vanilla.
    Pour over popped corn.
    Mix well.
    Divide in 2 large shallow baking pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 250\u00b0 stirring every 15 minutes.
    Cool.
    Break apart and store in tightly covered container.
